Back together again!

So for the first time in three years we
were all together at the same time! I guess that's what can happen when you have a big family and people start moving out of state! We all got together for Christmas to do family pictures for my Mom. I think they turned out pretty good! I think we are a pretty good looking crew! It was fun to hang out and laugh together.

This one is the whole crew in-laws and nephew.

I think Brent and I were very confused!?! Ha Ha

Just the boys, look how handsome!

Just the girls

Travis and Stef

Trenton Ali and Seth. Such a beautiful family!

Brent and I, not so conufused.

We had a great time together. We plaied gutar hero. Found out Ethan is an expert at that game! He even beat Brent who plays gutar in real life! The only sad point to the trip was when we got home. Brent and I opened up our suitcase and saw that my band new hair spray got stuffed into my shoe and emptied it's self. Even better, the shoe was black, next to my new white sweater!! So sad! So now my nice sweater looks like a dalmation! Maybe I'll just die the whole thing black! But such a great trip! We love our family and it was wonderful to spend time with them.

We almost lost Bosco!

Bosco and I were at the dog park. Bosco started running the whole length of the park with some other big dogs. (he normally plays with smaller dogs) Then they were jumping on each other and wresteling and Bosco collapsed! I ran over to see if he was ok, thinking maybe he broke a leg or something. His back legs were not working, he was trying to get up but was unable to. Then his front legs stopped and then he just passed out. He stopped breathing, his heart stopped. He died for a moment! It was terrifing! All the people at the park had gathered around. One of them started doing chest compressions on him. He slowly started breathing again. I ran and got the car and drove it down the park (the only cool part of this story!) and put him in the car. We drove to the animal hospital. By time we got there Bosco was acting normal again. After waiting there for hours the Dr. basically said he just fainted, but to follow up with the normal vet. We got medicine for him and left. We took him to the reg. vet and found out he has Valley Fever. Which in rare cases can be fatel. Humans and dogs can get it. It is in the dust and that is how you get it. We are very hopful that with high doses of medicine and a lots of love Bosco will be just fine. But in the mean time we are not allowed to exercise him very much. The same thing could happen only he wouldnt get up this time! So Bosco has so much pent up energy! He's used to long walks everyday! We feel so bad for him!

Sunbeams!

In church our calling is Sunbeam teachers. We normallyhave 6 kids. They are fun! The other day the other Sunbeam teachers were not there (there are two classes because our primary is HUGE) So we got all 12 Sunbeams! Three of them did not speak english! We combine with the Spanish speaking branch so their kids come to primary and young mens/womens with our ward. It was insane! We never want to be pre-school teachers! It was so challenging to keep there attention. One was crying, another was beating up other kids, making them cry. then there are the potty breaks they have to take. And to think we thought six 3 & 4 yr olds were a lot to handle on a sunday! Twelve made us greatful to have just six. Next year there are 14 kids coming up to Sunbeams from Nursrey. That means a class of 7. I forgot how much our kiddos had grown up in the past year till they brought in kids from nursrey for singing time. We've got our work cut our for us next year!

Welcome to the World Seth Lee McElmurry! And Intorducing all the neice and nephews!

So we have a new nephew! His name is Seth Lee McElmurry! He is the middle pic. My brother Trenton and his wife Ali had there first baby on Saturday December 1st. He weighed 7 lbs and was 19'' long. Both mom and baby are doing good. And since our blog is new, we thought we'd share our other nephews and niece. There are Max and Kierstie Skiba. Max is 4 Kierstie is 2. And Connor Hansen, he is just 5 months old! He is the bottom pic. The top are Max Kiersti and Connor. They are so cute and so fun to play with! Max and Kierstie especially love Bosco! We sure do love all of them! We can't wait to get up to Prescott and meet little Seth!

Imax

Yea it's December! So we really are enjoing some cooler weather! We say that part jokingly, knowing that 60's in December really would not be concidered cool weather to most! We are looking forward to the Christmas season and the fun that it is! We had a movie theatre open near our house so we went to check it out. It is an Imax theatre, I (Terina) had never seen and Imax before so that part was pretty cool. But Brent wanted to see Beowulf, I was a little worried that I'd see a head flying at me in 3D! But I've draged him to enough chickflicks I figured I'd be a good wife and go along! Well there was a not only a head flying at me, but a whole half of a body! We'll just say not my favorite movie! But the Imax part was cool! And the theater was very nice!

Thansgiving

What an exciting Thanksgiving we had. Not really, pretty typical until the end. We went to Chino Valley to spend the holiday with Terina's family. It took forever to get there because traffic was so bad on I-17. We have never seen it so bad. There weren't any accidents either. We took Bosco to meet everybody. He enjoyed running around with the other dogs and the big yard to run in. There was a big pee party when he first got there. First he would pee on something then the next dog would come and sniff it and pee, then the next one, then Bosco again. They would go around in circles doing that all over the yard. We had the typical Thanksgiving dinner followed by the tradition of a game of dominos. We played for hours and lost track of time. We had plans to visit Terina's other Grandma who lives in Prescott and some frineds. When we got ready to leave, our sister-in-law started having contractions. She had been having them all day but they got more consistent when we got ready to leave. So, when they were less than a minute apart, we decided to go to the hospital and get a new nephew. When we got there, the doctor gave her a shot to stop the contractions and told her to go home for a couple of weeks. So we went and visited Terina's other Grandma, picked up Bosco and headed home really late. Still no nephew.

Welcome!!!

Welcome everyone to our blog. We finally broke down and decided to do a blog. So here is a little about us! We were married September 1st 2005, what a great day! Brent works for SRP (the local power company) and I work for myself as a Massage Therapist. We both really enjoy what we do. We just moved into our first home almost six months ago and love it! It's been so great to have our own space! We had a dog named Bosco, he is a three year old boxer and he is so fun! We love to travel, try new resturants, watch movies, hang out with friends, and just have fun! We hope this will be a fun way for people to stay updated on what's going on in our lives!
