This is Why We Live in The Great Phoenix Area

That's what I keep telling myself. This is why I endure 110+ degree weather in the summer. For 77 in January. But here's the sad part. I'm not really enjoying it! It's beautiful don't get me wrong. But I have so many cute scarves and gloves and hats and a love affair with outer wear! So rather then relishing the glorious weather I'm lamenting not being able to bundle up, see my breath and barely feel my nose. I was especially bitter when I had to turn on the AC last night to be able to sleep. It was 80 degrees in our house. Right now current temp 82 this is after putting a fan in the window to suck in some cool air from out side! It was 83. Makes me want to cry a little bit!

I will always be MORE than happy to switch you places! It is SUPER cold here and I am so tired of hats, scarves, gloves, jackets, and not being able to feel my fingers or toes. 82 or 83 would be so wonderful! Please feel free to send any warm weather this way and I will send some cold weather to you - deal? :)

Ok we arent that bad in Vegas but its close. And Im with you I miss the snow and the cold weather. This is why we are planning to move back to the midwest when Justin can get a transfer with work. Im so sick of all the warm weather!!! And the lack of rain at least you get the monsoons, see I can give you something to be greatful for :)

I have an obsession with outerwear also. Kingman is a little cooler though so I need to stop complaining about it. (just ask my husband, he says I need to stop too!)

Hi! I found your blog from someone else in the ward. Anyway, I hate this hot weather we're having too! I love being able to bundle up and this is the only chance we get! Grr...

I wish I felt the same way...I can't wait for it to be warmer, my house hasn't gotten above 74 either so I'm not quite that hot yet.

I can appreciate a cute sweater and mittens, but I wouldn't trade our warm winters for anything. I'm a wimp... that's all there is to it.

You should come out here! It's a delicious 3 degrees at night and snowing today!

It's hard to find that happy medium, huh? I think I found it! :) It's definitely not snowing here (St. George, UT), but it's still a little chilly, probably about mid 50's - I absolutely don't miss the snow at all! I have a lot of coats and stuff from NYC and I love that I can still wear them every now and then.

You crack me up! I too hate the fact that it is in the 80's in January. That means that come this summer, we are in for one hot one!

Wow, I think my house would have to be on fire for it to get that warm in here. Hope you are doing good!
