Can you believe he's already two months old?!?! His two month check up was last Monday and he's healthy and perfect! He weighs 10 lbs 11 oz. Getting to be a chunker! He also got shots. I hated it! I kept debating weather I wanted to get them all, if I did when to get them, how many to do at once. There is just not enough solid info out there! I decided to get all of them but no more then two or three at a time. But even making that decision I still felt unsure about it. I felt a little like I was deciding between Autism or something like measles! Ugh, tough parenting decisions. Hate it! Well he got 3 shots. He was a little traumatised! He cried so hard he turned purple, stopped breathing for a second and had tears running down his face. I don't think he has a very high pain tolerance! He was bleeding at the injections sites. I cried right along with him! I was a little traumatised too! I think the Dr. put it well when he said, "We don't have kids to see them in pain so a lot of Moms have a hard time with it." Glad to know I'm right there with "a lot of Mom's" Thankfully he calmed down quickly after ward once I was snuggling him. The Dr. once again commented that he's very strong. He asked if he's smiling yet and I said, yes and he's rolling over too. He looked at Croix and said what you're not supposed to be doing that yet! Then when the Dr. put him face down on the table to see how well he could hold up his head, as if to show off, or prove himself, little Croix rolled over! I'm so grateful that he's healthy and growing and developing well! I'm glad recovery from shots was quick. The day he got them he just wanted to be snuggled. He would wake up from sleeping whimpering, and then start screaming. It was so sad. I must have told him I'm sorry a 100 times! I would move his legs every time he ate to help work it in. That night I gave him a long hot bath. The next day he seemed to be feeling mostly all better. He was still not quite back to his normal happy self but was doing much better! I'm already dreading his next check up and round of shots! I'm sure he would be too if he knew! And because he's so cute here's some recent pics of our little Angel!

Those are really cute pictures!! Did you give him tylenol after his shots? Both my boys got shots yesterday and Tylenol seems to work wonders.
He is such a doll (you can say that about boys until they are one) Those eye are going to knock em all dead!
He is soo cute!! You can actually give him tylenal a half hour before he gets shots. then it is already in him.
I promise you are not choosing autism over measles. There is almost no connection between shots and autism and - those that have "horror stories" it usually follows a very severe allergic reaction which is rare. Its more rare than him getting the measles.
Anyway, your little boy is so cute. I love that picture of him in the red. He doesn't look like a newborn anymore - he's just a baby!
What a beautiful baby! I love his bright eyes and big smile!
