On the way he made a spy glass from some paper
And despite my fears Maizy did really well, she slept and ate and played and was over all very happy.
Her little thumb came in quite handy!
We stopped in Dateland for some free date samples and a date shake. I would not recommend getting one! It tasted like burned marshmallows to me!
It was Maizy's first time crawling on grass, she wasn't quite sure what to think of it.
I think she liked it after a while.
We got to my sister's house just about bed time. She was wonderful and had a hot dinner waiting for us! We quickly ate and put the kids right to bed. They both were awesome and went right to sleep. Which was such a relief since in the past they have been horrible traveling sleepers!
We had to be at Sea World at 9AM and knew we would hit rush hour traffic. We left the house, with a lunch packed at 7:30! We got there with plenty of time to spare and watched as the masses of kids and parents arrived at the school entrance. We got to enter the park 30 minutes before they open to the public since we were a school group, although the rides did not start until the park opened. We went and checked out the penguins while we waited for the park to open.
He also did not want to touch the rays. I was an awesome Mom and forced him too. Even after feeling one and seeing that it was soft and didn't hurt he didn't want to touch one again, I did thought :) They were so soft. They feel like wet mushrooms.
After Sea World headed to Ruby's for dinner. We hit some traffic on the way so we detoured off onto the PCH for a few miles. It was such a beautiful detour! Just gorgeous. Some day when our kids are old enough to enjoy it and appreciate it I'd love to drive up the entire coast! Any way enough about future vacations, back to the most recent one. We love this little place. It's out on the end of a pier so when you go at the right time of day you get to enjoy the sunset. And we ended up there the right time of day!
Maizy played with some french fries, she didn'r really eat any. Probably a good thing because we have yet to really introduce them and while on vacation would not the best time to find out she's allergic to them!
Blurry but I love it!
By time we made it home we were all exhausted and crashed hard. It was another night of kids going to bed easily! Small miracles, huge blessing, definate answer to prayers!
As soon as the rides were going we hit up the Sesame Street area. Croix loved the rides!
Maizy had equally as much fun just watching all the people and rides.
There was a fun bouncy area that Croix, Maizy and Jon (my nephew) all enjoyed romping around in.
Don't worry I'm not "that Mom" I wasn't playing games on my phone or texting I was using my phones camera :)
There was another bouncy area that was more bubbly for older kids, Croix loved it!
Then we went and checked out the Sky Tower.
Croix is such a good older cousin!
There were some awesome views!
Quick rest for lunch
We loved the giant polar bear
All of our hands will fit in one of their paw prints.
Crystal and Jon checking out the starfish
Croix declared the water was cold!

Maizy did a great job hanging out in the wrap and sleeping in it during nap time.
We ended our day at sea World at the Star fish.

And then as we ate dinner.
